Ready to revolutionize healthcare, making it faster and more accessible than ever before?
How we started:
Back in 2013, our founder Dwayne D'Souza saw an opportunity to give people faster and more convenient access to medications using technology. We've grown rapidly since our inception, without any external funding whatsoever - achieving profitability through innovation and a highly disciplined approach to growth.
Where we are now:
We've earned the trust of millions of people worldwide through our top-selling products and well-known brands: MedExpress, Dermatica, ZipHealth, RocketRX, and Levity. A lot of our success is down to having our own pharmacies, manufacturers and products - spearheaded by leading in-house medical teams, researchers and pharmacists. Our 2023 global revenue was $80m, and we're set to more than double this in 2024 as we look to surpass $200m and positively impact the daily lives of more people than ever before. There's never been a more exciting time to join HeliosX.
Where we're going:
Over the next five years, you'll support our goal to become a world-leading healthcare partner, deepening our customer relationships, expanding into new countries, and diversifying our product portfolio to treat more conditions. You'll be part of helping more people access prescription treatments and, most importantly, making personalised care better, quicker and easier for everyone.
The Opportunity
As a Product Doctor at HeliosX, you will play a critical role in writing and overseeing clinical consultations for new drug and pathway launches. You will work closely with SME's (namely dermatologists and urologists), product and engineering teams, clinical operations, brand and pharmacy to ensure that our healthcare solutions are safe, effective, and aligned with the latest medical standards and guidelines.
What you'll do
- Write and oversee clinical consultations for new drug and pathway launches, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with medical guidelines.
- Collaborate with product development teams to integrate clinical insights into the design and enhancement of healthcare solutions.
- Conduct literature reviews, evidence assessments, and clinical evaluations to support the development and launch of new drugs and treatment pathways.
- Develop and maintain clinical protocols, pathways, and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality in patient care.
- Iterate current clinical consultations to align with software upgrades, enabling new branching capabilities and improving user experience.
- Adapt revised consultations for relevant territories, ensuring compliance with local prescribing restrictions and regulatory requirements.
- Combine current consultations to enable further user flexibility, (for example integrating GLP-1 agonists with nausea medications to improve patient adherence and outcomes).
- Advise on the positioning and description of products to customers, ensuring clarity, relevance, and appeal of web copy to enable better treatment selection and encourage add-ons.
- Liaise with experts in the field for consultation updates and reviews, ensuring the latest medical insights and best practices are incorporated.
- Attend regular meetings with product teams to discuss consultations at various stages of review/implementation.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops for internal teams on new clinical protocols, pathways, drug launches, and effective product positioning.
What you'll bring to HeliosX
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with full GMC registration and licence to practise in the UK.
- Previous experience in health tech or a related field is beneficial.
- Knowledge or experience in writing clinical consultations or writing for the web is beneficial.
- Experience in developing clinical pathways and launching new drugs or treatments is beneficial.

- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to evaluate scientific literature and clinical data.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
