About the job:We are recruiting for a Digital Specialist (OFTC) to join our client on a long-term temporary assignment. This role involves being a solution focused and collaborative IT specialist to join the Facilities management team of our Global Automotive client. This position offers the encumberment the opportunity to be a true partner to the business and collaborate with various departments to understand their IT requirements, while considering the wider organization and scope of available software.
The opportunity
You will be working with, analysing, and separating data, assessing the existing software landscape and designing and implementing applications to drive the efficiency and effectiveness of the business functions. Furthermore, you will ensure that the principles of process management are adhered to and anchored through the introduction of IT/Digital/Data-driven solutions. With the focus on continuous improvement, performance and quality in the field of Facility and Energy Management.

What will you bring to the global premium automotive brand:

  • Degree in computer science, business informatics, electrical engineering or a similar field.
  • Experienced in leading large IT projects with international scope and focusing on data.
  • IT hardware and software knowledge (with primary focus on IT architecture, data architecture and cloud services and cloud architecture).
  • Experience in software development and at least one common programming language.
  • High affinity to and pleasure in familiarising with new innovative technologies (such as Building Information Modelling).
  • Team collaboration and communication skills.
  • Analytical thinking and structured working methods and proven experience with agile methodologies.
  • Profound knowledge of new technologies, innovations and industry-specific IT applications with a focus on digital transformation (e.g. SAP, CAFM, BIM, Industry 4.0, IoT, IWMS, etc.).
  • Experience in the development and implementation of change programs that enable cultural "transformation".
  • Willingness to travel
  • A highly motivated approach to bringing business transformation through digitalisation through systems, data & processes.

    CompensationWe offer a competitive hourly wage plus an annual performance-related bonus. You will receive a generous annual leave of up to 35 days, which is inclusive of bank holidays.
