Electrical Inspector

A South London local authority is seeking experienced Electrical Inspector

Your new company
Working for this local authority you will be at the heart of the changes within their housing and education stock; joining an experienced M&E team that is focused on delivery and ensuring all compliance elements are met within their buildings.
Your new role
The role entails completing pre- and post-inspections of contractor's works and compiling detailed reports that offer advice on work that should or should not go ahead. You will act as a technical lead for both internal and external teams providing electrical advise where possible.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need a background of acting as electrical lead/ inspector within the public sector and must hold qualifications related to the electrical field, including the 18th edition. You must be able to travel within a borough and prepared to work on various sites throughout the week.
What you'll get in return
The council will offer a 3 month contract with the opportunity for it to continue to roll on whilst receiving a daily rate of £350 Umbrella. Working only 35 hours a week, 7.2 hours per day.
