Finance Officer

Immediate start for Finance Assistant Job Based in Manchester for Multi Academy

Your new companyOur client is well known multi academy trust in the North. Who are looking for a Finance Assistant to start immediately on an 3 month temporary contract.
Your new roleAs the Finance Assistant you will help support the Head of Finance alongside;

• Ensure Purchase Orders, are checked for accuracy and forwarded to suppliers
• Processing of invoices, checking to Purchase Orders and goods received notes, ensuring appropriate authorisation and ready for payment.
• Monitoring budgets and performance of the schools
• Collection, counting and banking of cash and maintenance of appropriate financial records
• Dealing with queries from suppliers (including statements), debtors, budget holders and other Academy staff.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in finance or accounting roles
• Experience working in a school or education background (desirable)
• Experience with PS Financials (Essential)
• Ability to work independent and in team environment
• Strong excel skills
