Job Title: Full Stack Developer - PHP Laravel, Vue & TypeScript
Location: Cardiff office when and if needed - this may be once a quarter
Salary/Rate: Up to £550 a day Inside IR35
Start Date: November 2024
Job Type: 6-month contract (with scope to extend)

Company Introduction

We seek a passionate Full Stack Developer with experience working with PHP Laravel, Vue 2/3 and Typescript.

This role will be 60% Front End using Vue3 and 40% Back End using PHP Laravel.

In this role, you will join an established agile team focusing on developing our API and web-based Identity solutions, developing new features and maintaining the existing platform.

Requirements

• Capable and enthusiastic technologist, able to demonstrate a broad technical knowledge in PHP development using the Laravel PHP framework
• Experience using Vue 3 and Composition API to develop modern applications.
• Experience using Typescript
• Knowledge of Integration Testing, Unit Testing, and Feature Testing is required.
• Use of HPUnit for Unit Testing would be advantageous.
• Working experience in an Agile environment
• Strong experience with Linux
• Good understanding of CI/CD
• Experience building and using design systems and tools including Storybook to support Front End development
• The storybook experience is very nice but not essential
• Experience with Automation Testing - using tools like Playwright etc
• Experience working with GitHub Actions to build & deploy products, experience of using GitHub in a development environment is required
• Know how to handle security on the Front End

Responsibilities

• Developing and delivering features across the full stack (including use of modern PHP frameworks, Front End frameworks, and other tools)
• Have the ability to voice your opinions and suggest new ideas.
• Closely supporting the effective design of new features and solutions
• Contributing to the quality assurance effort, particularly through use of test automation tools (such as Playwright) and Continuous Integration tools (such as GitHub Actions)
• Providing technical input and guidance to our cross-functional agile product development teams
• Working closely with the product owner and project management to deliver timely products and enhancements
