The Store Format & Design Team leads the global Douglas format strategy, orchestrating the transformation of Douglas stores across Europe with unparalleled experience.
We are looking for a highly motivated Head of Store Format who is passionate about ensuring a next level of customer experience in all Douglas stores. This role plays a significant role in the overarching goal of Douglas Brand consistency across all stores.

TASKS WITH IMPACT- You lead the global Store Format team with both technical and disciplinary responsibility for your direct reports. Additionally, you are responsible for establishing effective ways of working within your team, introducing efficient digital processes, and collaborating closely with various departments to foster a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- You manage the global standardized Douglas Store Format Vision and ensure the translation of the Douglas brand into physical stores.
- You and your team develop building block content (Design Brand Elements, Assortment, Services, Digital) and translate it into Multiformat guidelines.
- You play a key role in managing the procurement of store design elements, guiding countries on store building budgets (CAPEX), and analyzing cost benchmarks.
- You ensure central procurement and maintain consistent communication with suppliers. You build positive relationships and effective communication with suppliers, agencies, and cross-departmental teams, continuously analyzing the need for optimization.
- You ensure a state-of-the-art store experience by scanning the retail landscape and competitors, researching trends, and leading the international roll-out of successful projects.
- You oversee the nationwide implementation of store formats, with exceptions being centrally managed.
- You have successfully completed a university degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- You have 7-10 years of experience in Project Management within the retail sector, holding a managerial position.
- You are eager to collaborate with different departments and teams, capable of balancing budget, time, and quality requirements effectively.
- You are detail-oriented and a problem solver, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and navigate challenging timelines.
- Your profound understanding of the global retail market, along with a keen sense of trends and customer preferences, sets you apart.
- You possess excellent communication and presentation skills and are fluent in both English and German.
- You are willing to travel and make occasional store visits within Europe (day trips).
