Job Description

  1. Develop and implement procurement strategies to maximise efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  2. Foster strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and managing performance.
  3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and objectives.
  4. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
  5. Monitor market trends and adapt procurement strategies accordingly.
  6. Promote best practice in procurement and supplier relationship management.
  7. Manage risks related to procurement and supply chain processes.
  8. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Procurement & Supply Chain department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Procurement and SRM Partner should have:

  1. A background in Public Sector Procurement, Supply Chain Management or related field.
  2. Experience in developing and implementing procurement strategies.
  3. Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  4. Strong understanding of procurement processes and supplier relationship management.
  5. Knowledge of market trends in the Not for Profit and Charities sector.
