Program & Business Operations Manager - Core Platforms
Location: Amsterdam
Contract Duration: 6 months + Extension

This is a *Amsterdam* based role with an excellent immediate start within a Global Technology Client that is working on *empowering product engineering teams to build, operate, and deliver exceptional software products to customers*.

About the Role

Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking an experienced Program & Business Operations Manager to join their Core Platforms department within Central Tech. Core Platforms delivers the technology and capabilities that empower product engineering teams to build, operate, and deliver exceptional software products to customers.

In this role, you will lead and optimize business operations processes to ensure the achievement of departmental objectives. You will also manage the Internal Customer Engagement Program, driving customer-centricity by implementing improved customer support mechanisms, satisfaction metrics, segmentation, and engagement frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Operations:

    • Drive and/or support business rhythms, including reviews, planning, budgeting, and management reporting.
    • Facilitate and manage quarterly planning processes, ensuring alignment with stakeholders, follow-ups on deliverables, and continuous improvement of the process.
    • Optimize business operations by standardizing processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness, simplifying where possible.
  • Program Management:

    • Act as the Program Manager for the Internal Customer Engagement Program, coordinating activities, facilitating planning, and ensuring timely delivery of program objectives.
    • Monitor program projects, manage risks and dependencies, and report progress to key stakeholders.
    • Foster a culture of customer-centricity by implementing a Customer Centricity Flywheel and ensuring alignment across projects.
  • Strategic Influence:

    • Communicate insights and recommendations through compelling storytelling to build consensus across cross-functional teams.
    • Influence decision-making with senior stakeholders and leadership, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Evaluation & Continuous Improvement:

    • Assess and optimize current business operations, recommending strategies and tactics to meet business goals.
    • Drive thoughtful yet simple process improvements to increase productivity and efficiency.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience:

    • 8+ years in a strategic program or project management role.
    • 2+ years of experience in Business Operations, with a focus on optimizing and standardizing processes.
  • Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse groups, including leadership and senior management.
    • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities with organizational agility.
    • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, dynamic, and ambiguous environments.
    • Customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering impactful results.
  • Preferred:

    • Technical background or experience is a plus.
