Your new company
Hays are partnering with a third-sector organisation based in North Belfast to recruit a receptionist with admin duties on a full-time basis
Your new role
As a receptionist you will be the first point of contact for the organisation, responsibilities include

  • Welcome visitors, answer and screen telephone calls, handle office enquiries, take messages, and answer queries.
  • Assist with typing letters, documents, and minutes as required. Prepare reports and presentation slides.
  • Ensure all records are maintained in accordance with quality system requirements and data protection legislation, always maintaining confidentiality.
  • Attend meetings as directed, take minutes, and organise hospitality for these meetings.
  • Process and accurately upload/record information on a timely basis.
  • Ensure the smooth running of the department, assisting where appropriate
  • Assist with the coordination of file management and archive systems.
  • Attend all appropriate training and meetings as required.
  • Contribute to the effective delivery of a quality service through the formulation, review, and proper implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Assist in arrangements for meetings, training, and other events, including hospitality
  • Perform daily duties such as photocopying, collating, and other routine tasks necessary to assist the team
  • Assist in the delivery of all office duties, including support for queries received by phone, email, post, or in person.
  • What you'll need to succeed
    •A minimum of 2 years administration experience within the last 3 years in a busy office environment AND 5 GCSEs (Grades A-C) including Mathematics and English Language
    OR
    •5 years relevant experience in a busy office environment.
    •Experience in providing high quality customer service.
    •Effective planning, prioritising, and organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure.

    What you'll get in return
  • Salary of £25,584 pro rata
  • Temporary FTC for 6 months
  • 9am to 5pm Monday to Thursday & 9am to 4pm on Friday
