We are currently recruiting for a Senior Business Development Manager to join our established and experienced sales and distribution team here at RSA on a hybrid basis.
Your role will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships primarily in a face-to-face environment helping to grow the RSA business through a panel of Strategic / Major broker partners. This will be within your geographical region across all Commercial Lines P&L's.
You will have accountability for implementing and ongoing development of 3 year broker account plans, involving stakeholders, marketing, sales, operations, claims and underwriting colleagues, to ensure RSA achieves the required service and performance.
You will manage the overall sales pipeline across all Commercial P&L's for each broker to ensure that RSA achieves its operational plan. You will also lead the identification, planning and winning of major strategic development opportunities for your broker panel.
About YouTo be successful in your role you will have experience of maintaining partner relationships and have knowledge of sales and marketing best practices within an insurance environment. You will also need to have experience of account management and be able to build and maintain development plans for your panel of brokers.
You will need to be able to make brokers aware of the RSA proposition and achieve buy-in from them to work collaboratively with you and the Underwriters.
