What part will you play?We're seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager (f/m/d) to help drive the growth of the Siemens Xcelerator Marketplace. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering impactful product experiences by deeply understanding the needs of our customers and sellers. You will innovate, define product features, and work with cross-functional teams to bring these features to life. You'll have a strong focus on customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape, all while helping us stay ahead of the curve.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Drive Product Strategy & Innovation: Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for a dedicated area on our marketplace, from concept through to launch and continuous iteration. Define a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with our company's strategic goals and marketplace growth objectives.
- Customer-Centric Development: Continuously identify and prioritize product features that address real customer and seller needs. Ensure a seamless user experience by optimizing customer and seller journeys across the platform.
- Collaborative Product Execution: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to deliver high-quality features on time. Build positive relationships with internal and external partners to ensure alignment and effective product delivery.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data-driven analysis to identify growth opportunities, supervise product performance, and optimize features post-launch. Present compelling data-driven narratives to communicate product vision and drive key strategic decisions.
- Market and Competitive Insight: Stay ahead of industry trends and the competitive landscape, ensuring that product decisions keep the marketplace relevant. Provide thought leadership in marketplace innovation, constantly seeking new ways to improve the platform's value proposition.
- Launch and Operational Leadership: Lead the product launch process, from coordinating launch activities to ensuring successful market introduction. Lead initiatives to enhance marketplace functionality, drive seller acquisition, and improve customer happiness.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or an equivalent, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred to enhance your qualifications.
- Bring long-term product management experience, including several years in a marketplace or e-commerce setting, demonstrating your expertise in this space.
- Possess a deep understanding of B2B/B2C marketplaces, multi-sided platforms, or e-commerce ecosystems, allowing you to navigate complex environments with ease.
- A consistent record of successfully leading sophisticated product initiatives from concept to launch showcases your ability to drive impactful projects.
- Your excellent communication and leadership skills enable you to optimally lead cross-functional teams and collaborate across departments.
- An analytical mentality and a data-driven approach to decision-making ensure that your problem-solving is both strategic and grounded in insights.
- Capable of balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution, you are comfortable navigating both big-picture goals and detailed tasks.
- Experienced with agile methodologies and familiar with tools like JIRA and Confluence, you are well-versed in running product development efficiently.
- Visionary approach: Ability to translate strategic ideas into actionable product roadmaps.
- Customer-centric: Empathy for users and a passion for delivering exceptional customer and seller experiences.
- Adaptable: Thrives in a fast-paced environment, comfortable with change and adjusting when necessary.
