Job Description

Due to team changes the position of Site Manager has become available to join our Cadent Framework based in Hitchin

Cadent is the UK's largest Gas Distribution Company, operating 4 of the 8 UK Gas Distribution Networks (East of England, London, North West and West Midlands). Their service spans over 131,000 kilometres of pipes supplying to 11 million homes & businesses.

Costain is the preferred bidder for the East of England Construction Management organisation (CMO). Central to Costain's role will be the strategic planning and programme management of Cadent's capital investment programme, with a focus on delivering improved regulatory performance and future proofing the network for the benefit of Cadent's customers.

This role will be site based

Role Requirements

Current UK driving licence

Ability to lead a team, influence and drive performance

Site management experience

Working knowledge of relevant codes of practice, safety and statutory regulations

Champions Sustainability Safety, Health and Environment by putting personal safety and wellbeing at the heart of everything we do and helping the environment and communities to thrive

Having integrity by always doing the right thing in the right way

Must be customer focussed by striving for excellence through understanding, anticipating and meeting their needs
