Staff Nurse

Hermitage House Care Home is a purpose built 64 bed luxury home situated on Sinclair Drive near the centre of Helensburgh on the Clyde Estuary.

The advanced exceptional design resembles a five star hotel which isn't like a regular care home. Morar Living pride ourselves when it comes to care, service, standards and residents satisfaction providing five star excellence at all times.

Hermitage House has remarkable features such as bistros, drawing rooms, a hair salon, private gardens, several lounges and a number of private dining areas. Five star chefs will also be onboard everyday to provide fresh gourmet meals and snacks based upon the residents' individual dietary requirements and preferences.
Arranged over four floors Hermitage House Care Home is arranged in small scale living areas where small groups of spacious bedrooms, each with ensuite wet rooms are arranged around lounge/dining and quiet lounge facilities.

This delivers a comfortable, homely and welcoming environment while also providing a range of other facilities for residents to enjoy. The upper floors enjoy beautiful open views from the balconies over Hermitage park, while the residents on the ground floor enjoy small private patio areas accessed from each individual bedroom. We are currently seeking to recruit registered nurses for day shift/night shift with a passion for providing residents with exceptional, kind, individualised care that promotes choice, dignity and respect.

About You

To join us you will be an RN or RMN, with experience in a care home setting caring for older people.

You will have a kind and caring approach with a passion for delivering the highest possible standard of care and support for the residents.

You will have excellent communication skills and have a desire to work in a participatory manner with residents and relatives to enable them to achieve desired outcomes and goals.

You will have experience and passion in supporting and developing less experienced staff members to ensure the delivery of exceptional care and support.

You will work well within the team, leading, guiding, supporting and teaching junior staff members and acting as a role model in delivering care based upon best practice.

You will have experience in motivating and leading the staff team.

You will have the right to work within the UK.
