Location/Division
The Materials and Structural Analysis Division (MSD) Electron Microscopy business, enables customers to find meaningful answers to questions that accelerate breakthrough discoveries which can ultimately change the world. The MSD EM business designs, manufactures, and supports the broadest range of high-performance microscopy workflows that provide images and answers in the micro-, nano-, and picometer scales.
Worldwide Electron Microscopy employees, using hardware, software and applications expertise in the electron, ion, and light microscopy fields, significantly help guide our customers' pursuit of discovery and resolution to global challenges in material sciences, life sciences and electronics around the world.
How can you make a difference to our business?
- Aligning with suppliers and (internal) customers on the best supply plan possible.
- Align with demand owners (internal customers).
- Responsible for material availability of complete modules and/or parts.
- Drive Supply Chain operations to secure the factory (output) plan feasibility and realization.
- Drive Supply Chain critical issues to successfully close gap between demand and supply.
- Day to day planning skills to keep track of and prioritize supply from suppliers and factory.
- To continually devise and create improvements to processes and ways of working to improve efficiency and the speed of delivery of information from the department.
- Ensure that appropriate key performance indicators are reported and monitored against targets.
- When above and beyond: Extensive planning and organizational skills to meet demand over x months periods of time as well as to prepare capabilities request up to x years horizon
Education and experience
- Relevant Bachelor's degree (e.g. Supply Chain Management or Engineering)
- Knowledge of business complexity and relevant markets
- Familiar with S&OP processes
- High level of analytical and problem-solving skills
- Relevant experience with software solutions to support business operations
Preferred:
- Consistent record in areas of operations and supply chain management, in a high-tech or otherwise highly complex and cross-sectorial business environment
- Experience with Master Production Schedule and Production Planning
