About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our team on a long-term supply basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education in Biology, Physics, or Chemistry to students in a Sheffield school. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to make a significant impact on students' learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in Science, with a focus on Biology, Physics, or Chemistry.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a safe and productive learning space.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support the overall development of the Science curriculum.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Specialism in Biology, Physics, or Chemistry.
  • Strong behaviour management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
