Key Responsibilities:

• Algorithm Development: Enhance and expand the capabilities of the in-house algorithmic trading platform, integrating new signals and behaviors.
• Technical Interaction: Provide L3 support on the trading floor, ensuring seamless interaction and performance.
• Business Insight: Leverage your business knowledge in various asset classes, with a preference for FX, to inform and drive algorithmic strategies.
• Innovation and Improvement: Focus on refining existing systems and implementing sophisticated signals, contributing to continuous improvement post-migration from a vendor platform.

Ideal Candidate:

• Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in Java and experience with low-latency systems. Familiarity with Aeron, Chronicle, and Apache Arrow is advantageous.
• KDB Knowledge: Experience with KDB is highly beneficial.
• Algo Trading Experience: Previous work in algorithmic trading, particularly with exposure to trading floor dynamics and event-driven development.
• Quantitative Skills: Understanding of market structure and quantitative analysis.
