Position: Head of Software Development for Data Applications (m/w/d) (Ref.Nr. R) in Voll- oder Teilzeit an unserem Standort in Ditzingen bei Stuttgart

Responsibilities:
  • Lead an international software development team of approximately 11 employees in Germany and Romania, additionally overseeing the technical management of two contractors.
  • Manage work package management in an international context for all project-specific developments of the team, ensuring compliance with quality, time, and budget requirements.
  • Act as an organizational and technical interface to project management, taking responsibility for planning activities and reporting for the accountable performance share.
  • Develop innovative software solutions for creating and verifying data for our digital product portfolio.
  • Coordinate the rollout of software solutions to users, including support and training coordination.
  • Coach the team in the role of Scrum Master, promoting the implementation of agile working methods.
Requirements:
  • Completed degree in computer science, electrical engineering, railway safety engineering, or comparable fields.
  • Several years of experience in work package or project management in software development.
  • Strong leadership skills and practical experience in team management.
  • Quick comprehension, analytical skills, and technical expertise.
  • Experience in agile roles such as Scrum Master, practical experience in software development/architecture, as well as knowledge in railway safety engineering are advantageous.
  • Fluent in German and English.
