Paid Media Marketing Manager

My client is a premium cycling apparel brand born in 2009 in a traditional French café nestled amongst the hills above France's Mediterranean coast. They specialize in high-performance cycling apparel and have achieved double-digit international growth. The company is deeply committed to creating positive social and environmental impact while fostering an inclusive and transparent work environment.
They currently operate through three channels:
- A digital flagship delivering worldwide (EU, USA, UK, ASIA)
- Three brand-owned stores in iconic cycling destinations in Europe
- 50+ wholesale partners located across the globe
This London-based role presents an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact as the company moves to its next level of growth. As Paid Media Marketing Manager, you will report to the Head of E-commerce and work within a tight-knit, collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership- Champion and lead the paid media creative strategy, working closely with the creative marketing team
- Develop innovative approaches to premium brand positioning beyond traditional conversion metrics
- Expand the brand's digital presence across both established and emerging platforms
- Build a high-performing acquisition program focused on growing brand awareness in key markets without relying on discount-led promotions
- Oversee day-to-day management of paid media channels
- Manage monthly paid media budget and develop comprehensive performance analytics
- Implement consistent testing across audiences, ad placement, and formats
- Share learnings with wider marketing and e-commerce teams to optimize future creative
- Manage tracking setup, feed management, and technical requirements for remarketing and prospecting activities
- Work closely with the Creative Content team on creating and optimizing landing pages for paid campaigns
- Collaborate with E-commerce, Creative, Retail, and agency partners to design high-quality converting campaigns
- Drive collaborative approaches across different teams and cultures
- Minimum 3+ years of experience working in DTC digital marketing (PPC, Display, Social and Affiliates)
- Experience with premium or luxury brands, preferably in sportswear, fashion/apparel, or cycling
- Proficient user of Google Analytics (GA4 preferable)
- Proficient user of Google Ads & Meta Business Manager
- Experience with multiple platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and emerging platforms like TikTok and Reddit
- Track record of successfully launching or expanding brands on experimental platforms
- Understanding of medium/long-term brand positioning and premiumisation strategies
- Creative-led mindset with analytical capabilities
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Natural curiosity with a desire to continually improve
- Results-driven and determined
- Self-motivated with ability to work in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment
- Comfortable in a small team setting and happy to be hands-on
- Ability to work across cultures
- Location in London (Bricklane neighbourhood)
- Annual company performance bonus of up to 1 month of gross salary
