ULaw has undergone incredible growth and diversification over the last 5 years. To meet our ambitious strategic aims, ULaw has embarked on a major transformation programme. This role will facilitate the achievement of the Organisational Design strand of the CORDS Transformation Programme, which also includes implementation of the new student information system and associated integrations.

Fixed term 12 month contract, working remotely (within the UK). We are looking for somebody who is available immediately to start within the next month.

Reporting to the Director of Organisational Development, you will partner with senior leaders, acting as a trusted advisor on organisational change, employee relations, and talent management. You will provide expert guidance on role design, team structures, and working practices while ensuring best practice and compliance with policies and employment legislation.

As our Senior People Business Partner, you will:

  • Lead on change management initiatives, ensuring seamless integration with business-as-usual activities.
  • Partner and coach senior leaders to navigate ambiguity within the change programme to achieve objectives.
  • Provide expert advice on complex employee relations matters, ensuring a positive colleague experience.
  • Coach and develop people managers to enhance capability and foster an inclusive culture.
  • Contribute to talent mapping and workforce planning to drive organisational effectiveness.
  • Support the implementation of People & OD strategies and projects aligned to the University's vision.

Is this you?:

We are looking for a confident and collaborative professional with deep expertise in employee relations.

  • CIPD Level 7 qualification (or equivalent)
  • Significant recent experience in a senior employee relations advisory role with a strong focus on change management
  • Strong employee relations, colleague engagement and project management skills
  • Recent experience in developing robust strategies for managing complex change processes
