Senior Software Engineer - Android+X (f/m/x)

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and deliver features that fit our customers' needs
• While being the go-to Android expert in your team, you also work on other projects and environments
• Become an expert in your product domain
• Work closely with the hardware and cloud platform teams
• Keep a pulse on cutting-edge Android technologies and software engineering practices
• Assist in road map planning, estimation, scheduling, and hiring
• Report to and closely work with our CTO

Skills & experience you will need

• Minimum 5 years of in-depth software engineering experience
• You are versatile in multiple programming languages and environments and are excited at the prospect of learning new ones.
• Strong Android native development skills using the latest tech stack (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, )
• Experience shipping multiple mobile apps in a B2B environment
• Exceptional communication and cross-discipline collaboration
• Solid experience in at least one other environment, 'Great to have'
• Strong sense for user experience
• Solid understanding of different API formats and data storage technologies
• Given only high-level requirements, able to plan and work autonomously while staying strongly aligned with your team

Great to have

• Experience working with IoT devices
• Experience with native iOS development and cross-platform frameworks
• Skills with DevOps & CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with serverless AWS technologies and IaC (Terraform)
• You have working knowledge using the Django ecosystem
• Frontend skills using HTMX
