Job title: Speech and Language Therapist

Location: Overton School - West Midlands

Hours: 22.5 hours per week, 3 days per week, 8.30am -4.30pm

Contract: Permanent, Term Time only, (There may be scope for this role to bea full-time contract (52 weeks) if this is your preference, pleaseget in touch to discuss.)

Salary: Up to £53,200 (pro-rata, dependent uponexperience)

About therole

We are looking for aSpeech and Language Therapist to join our developing in-houseClinical Team, this includes occupational therapy, psychotherapyand therapy assistants. You will deliver bespoke assessment andintervention plans for the pupils we support.

You will be responsible for holding a speech and languagetherapy caseload and with the full support of our knowledgeableClinical Team, you will also contribute to staff training andconsultation. Both a challenging and rewarding role, this positionwould suit a resilient and enthusiastic individual, with a creativetherapeutic approach and the ability to make decisions, as well asmanage their own workload. In addition, you will provideinformation and training to staff, commissioners and other agenciesas required.

Essential Criteria:

• Allied Health Professionalqualification in Speech and Language Therapy

• Registered with the HCPC andRCSLT

• Experience of workingin multi-disciplinary teams

• Experience of working with children, youngpeople and adults who have an intellectual disability and/or autismwith additional needs (e.g. complex trauma, mental health needs,behaviours of concern)

• Experience of working within schoolenvironments
