Aiming to deliver the highest quality customer driven software whilst continually challenging, motivating, mentoring and supporting their engineering teams. The Senior Software Engineer will work in cross-disciplinary, Agile teams delivering exciting customer driven solutions and high quality software.

In the Intelligent Automation Lab we design, build, and operate the bank's Chatbots, Data Science, NLP/NLG and Robotics projects.

What you'll need
- Strong Java and Node.js skills
- Experience with agile development methods & tooling
- Experience of using modern software development toolsets including DevOps, Continuous Integration and Delivery
And any experience of these would be really useful
- Infrastructure /deployment strategies.
- Cloud Architecture - GCP, Azure or AWS
- Containers at scale: AKS/EKS, Docker, Kubernetes, Istio etc. Helm
- Experiences and understanding of Microservices / service mesh, reverse proxy and API Gateways
